Anna is a physical literacy advocate with a passion for people. She strives to help her clients not only achieve their goals - but surpass them!
She was born and raised in rural Northern Vancouver Island and made the move to Victoria BC in 2013. Anna then graduated from the Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence with a Degree in Sports and Fitness Leadership - Exercise and Wellness Specialization - Dual Internship Accreditation. Shortly after she registered with the BC Association of Kinesiologists and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. She is a BC Association of Kinesiologists Director Member working on Preventative and Progressive Medicine.

Bronte graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University. She is an avid problem solver, adventure seeker and animal lover. She has worked with a wide variety of individuals from athletes to children.
Bronte is well versed in wheelchair and other mobility aid skills through her previous work experience. She is passionate about providing a gentle and holistic approach to rehabilitation. Bronte’s goal is to create a safe space where movement can be explored. In her free time she can be found exploring the outdoors, at a spin class or crafting!
Gabby graduated in 2019 from Camosun College’s Athletic and Exercise Therapy Bachelor’s program and holds certifications as both a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Kinesiologist. Recently, she completed my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at University College Dublin, Ireland. She is currently preparing to complete the Canadian Physiotherapy Competency Exam, aiming to become a registered physiotherapist in Canada in the coming year.
Her clinical practice is deeply rooted in evidence-based care and shared decision-making, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans. She has a special interest in women’s health and is pursuing a certification in pelvic health physiotherapy. Additionally, she is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, supporting clients through the unique physical demands of these stages.
Gabby also places strong emphasis on the role of exercise and active recovery in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and long-term wellness. She integrates movement science and therapeutic exercise into every stage of care, whether it’s restoring joint mobility, improving neuromuscular control, or building resilience for return to sport or daily activity. She believes in empowering clients through education and movement, promoting body awareness and long-term self-management strategies.
With a personal athletic background in soccer, cheerleading, and dance, she brings a comprehensive understanding of sports and movement to her work. Outside the clinic, Gabby enjoys hiking and strength training, which further fuels my passion for functional and holistic rehabilitation.
Gillian is excited to join the team at Mend as a Rehabilitation Assistant! Raised in the Okanagan, she has always been passionate about staying active, with a background in a variety of sports that eventually led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. Now in her fourth year at Camosun College, she is eager to bring her knowledge and energy into supporting others in their health and wellness journeys.
Gillian believes that movement should feel enjoyable and accessible for everyone. She values meeting clients where they are at, celebrating progress big and small, and encouraging a positive approach to rehabilitation and daily activity.
Kim joins the Mend team with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She has worked as a Performance Strength and Conditioning coach with a wide range of clients; from high-level athletes to seniors, she's learned to adapt exercise to suit all levels of fitness and ability. She also has experience addressing ergonomic and mobility concerns from an injury-prevention standpoint. With these skills under her belt, her goal is to approach recovery and fitness from a global perspective; ultimately, fitness goals need to align with each individual and encourage a balanced lifestyle. Kim loves to grow and share her clinical knowledge while also taking the time to understand her clients' perspectives. She specializes in musculoskeletal injury prevention and rehabilitation through the lens of functional movement. She also has a passion for athletic performance and pre/post natal care. Regardless of one's background, she loves to support patients as they strive for their movement milestones. Outside of work, she can be found playing sports, being crafty, or cooking up a storm!
As a dedicated Kinesiologist, Steven specializes in guiding individuals of all ages toward recovery with a compassionate and science-driven approach. He works with clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, orthopedic surgeries, and seniors striving to maintain independence and quality of life in the face of aging.When he's not in the clinic, you can find him playing soccer and spending time with friends and family.
Teagan believes that movement should be something everyone can enjoy and has seen firsthand how exercise can positively shape every part of a person’s life. He is passionate about helping individuals regain strength, function, and confidence through personalized movement-based rehabilitation.
With experience in inclusive physical activity and coaching, Teagan brings a well-rounded and client-centred approach to rehabilitation. His background includes working with youth on the autism spectrum through the Canucks Autism Network, coaching Olympic lifting athletes of all ages, and coaching youth rugby. His passion for movement was rooted in an upbringing in hockey, rugby, and Olympic lifting.
Teagan grew up in Nanaimo, BC and graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Vancouver Island University. Outside of his clinical work, he is an avid angler and outdoorsman who thrives in the gym and on Vancouver Island’s rugged coastline. He is passionate about sharing his love for human kinetics with the community and is committed to helping each client move forward with strength, purpose, and lasting impact.
